The Lone Star Leather Crafters guild was formed
in the Fort Worth area in 1986 by a small group of leather enthusiasts.
Today our guild is an international organization, and we have
members in the United States, Austria, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Norway, Sweden and The Netherlands. We are novices,
masters, saddlemakers and hobbyists willing to share in the crafting
We meet once a month, usually on the second Tuesday
at 7 p.m in the Ft Worth Area. At each meeting,
we enjoy watching a demonstration or participating in a hands-on
project, showing and telling about our latest projects, socializing,
snacking, and discussing guild business. Guests are always welcome!
Several times each year, we change our meeting date to a
Saturday or Sunday
afternoon and participate in a workshop, a swap meet or other fun
activity including our Texas Cookouts! We may also
conduct special meetings throughout the year for field
trips or special events. In December,
we celebrate the holidays with a dinner party & gift
exchange. Its a great atmosphere with family and friends
sharing a common interest in the art of leather.
